Suzuki GW 250 2012

Suzuki Motor Corporation (SMC) ensures Suzuki GW 250 2012 or Suzuki Inazuma 2012 as a global product.

After present at The China International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition 2011, last week Suzuki GW 250 2012 present at The Live Motorcycle 2011 in Birmingham, England. However not use the name of GW 250, but became Inazuma 250. In late November 2011, Suzuki GW 250 2012 will be present at The Tokyo Motor Show 2011.

There was no difference in specs, just different names for some countries.

Kawasaki W800 Special Edition

Kawasaki W800 Special Edition is offered for those who like classic and exclusive motorcycles. Kawasaki W800 Special Edition only exists in black glossy.

Suzuki GSX-R1000 2012

Suzuki GSX-R1000 2012 certainly comes with various improvements. There are three new main things. The first is a machine, then the wiring harness and lastly there is the weight reduction. Suzuki claimed the total weight of this 2012 GSX-R1000 up to 2 kilograms lighter.

In the engine, Suzuki uses piston from MotoGP technology. The piston is 11 percent lighter than the old piston. Cam followers are used also 2.5 grams lighter with a smaller overlap.


To be more forceful, Suzuki is also increasing the compression from 12,8 : 1 to 12,9 : 1. Muffler is also made from thin stainless thus making it lighter.

The front suspension fixed uses Showa Big piston but now gives a chance 7 mm shorter. Stroke is also reduced to 5 mm.

Braking system is supported by Brembo monoblock calipers which lighter too.

Honda NC700S

Honda introduced the newest naked bike, Honda NC700S at the event in Milan EICMA Motor Show 2011.

The new engine embedded in this motorcycle with two cylinders 670 cc. Honda claims this engine can deliver good torque at low to medium RPM.

Braking system used on Honda NC700S is the ABS system. Further transmission with double clutch can be converted to automatic, and also has a driving mode of Drive (D) and Sport (S) in accordance with the wishes of riders.


Colors offered for Honda NC700S varied enough such as Seal Silver Metallic, Pearl Sunbeam White, and Graphite Black.

Kawasaki Versys 1000

Kawasaki produces a new motorcycle, Kawasaki Versys 1000. This is the motorcycle for the adventurers.

However, although this bike is intended for the adventurous, Kawasaki still consider the convenience to the rider.

With inline-four engine of 1043 cc liquid-cooled plucked from Z1000. However, Versys 1000 breath claimed to be longer than Z1000.

Honda issued a new motorcycle for the lovers of touring, Honda Crosstourer. With the big V4 engine capacity of 1237 cc; this bike combines sport style with adventure touring features.

Honda offers Crosstourer with a dynamic combination of off-road styling, driving position, the power of V4 engine, and dual clutch transmission.

Dual clutch transmission has three driving modes namely manual gear shifting, D-mode, and S-mode.

The feature is equipped with Traction Control System, and Combined Anti-lock Braking System makes Honda Crosstourer ready to take a variety of weather.

KTM Introduced Duke 690 at EICMA 2011

KTM, the Austrian motorcycle manufacturer, planned to introduce the Duke 690 in the EICMA Show in Milan, Italy, mid-November.

Duke 690 claimed to have power of 70 Hp even if equipped with single cylinder engine.



Another feature are Anti-Brake Lock System, gas ride by wire, and a lighter weight but still strong. While the design is similar to the Duke 125 or 350 which already exist on the market.

Currently no further information about its specifications. Duke 690 is planned to be marketed in the United States in 2013.

Honda RC-E, Electrical Sport Bike

Honda RC-E, an electric-powered motorcycle from Honda is scheduled to be featured in Tokyo Motor Show exhibition on December 3 to 11, 2011.

Basically, Honda RC-E is still a concept. The size and shape nearly equal to 250 cc sport bikes in general. But conventional engine have been replaced with the electrical motor.


Unfortunately, Honda did not explain further how the actual specification of this bike. We just wait at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show exhibition.

Through its official website, Yamaha plans to launch SUV motorcycle, XTW250 Ryoku. Why is so called because Yamaha claims this bike has high toughness and utility work.

Design key of this bike is “unrestricted, anytime, anywhere”. So Yamaha XTW250 Ryoku can be used anywhere without any restriction.


Its features are also quite unique, like a trunk with a low center of gravity, the gas tank is low, large tires, chassis protector, and LED lights that can be moved.

Honda Integra

Honda reported will launch new motorcycle, Integra. As reported by the official website of Honda, Integra is the first model that carries the latest engine 670 cc in-line 2-cylinder that delivers high torque both at low and medium RPM.

This machine can deliver power up to 38.1 kW at 6250 RPMs and torque of 60 Nm at 4750 RPM. But about the fuel consumption, Honda claims Integra is the most economical in its class. From testing, this bike has a fuel consumption of 27.9 km per liter.

The transmission is quite unique because the application of dual-clutch transmission. Can switch between manual or automatic just by pressing the switch button on the handlebars.

BMW finally really unveiled BMW C600 Sport and BMW C650 GT after a while ago only a concept.

BMW C 600 Sport will provide a different sensation for those who enjoyed the sportsmanship, while BMW 650C GT presents comfortable for those who more like touring.



Both motorcycles are equipped with 2-cylinder inline engine with capacity of 647 cc which has an output of 60 hp at 7500 rpm with torque of 66 Nm available at 6,000 rpm.
